STRIVE is so excited for the upcoming 2006-07 year! We are a student run club that promotes sustainability on campus, and encourages awareness of environmental issues and action based solutions.
|2007-01-28| ORGANIC BAKE SALE! Organic goodies baked with love for the planet! February 14th! Free screening of March of the Penguins 7 pm Biosciences 1103 Everyone is welcome to join us for an evening of penguin love! Bring a non perishable food item for the Campus Food Bank, and enjoy some organic coffee and cocoa! |2006-11-18| The Farmer's Market is coming to Queen's again this Wednesday (November 22), so please stop by the JDUC. On November 23 and 24 we'll be presenting our Winter-Proofing Your House project, also in the JDUC |2006-11-03| 'An Inconvenient Truth' was a huge success! Our next event is Star Appreciation Night. It takes place November 11th in the Ellis Observatory (Top floor of Ellis Hall). Come to admire and learn about the night sky. |2006-10-19| On Thursday, November 2nd STRIVE is hosting a free screening of 'An Inconvenient Truth' with Al Gore at 8pm in Ellis Auditorium. Along with the event there will be an organic bake sale. |2006-10-16| Our next event is a FREE Screening of ‘Strange Days on Planet Earth’ October 18th at 8 pm in Ellis Auditorium. |
